Caitie Quezada is an Amarillo,Tx based artist who has been painting and exhibiting work for 7 years. She is a graduate of the Fine Arts Program at WTAMU in Canyon, Texas in 2014. Upon obtaining her degree, she has created numerous large-scale commissions for patrons’ homes and businesses. Working predominantly with acrylic on canvas or paper, Caitie’s vibrant paintings are emotive, and explore themes of relationships, vulnerability, memories, travels, perceptions, faith, and mental health.
She's currently the art teacher at the Amarillo Montessori Academy, and has also taught at the Paper Crane Studio, Amarillo Museum of Art, the Refugee Language Project, and Kudos Art Studio. She has been a part of many local group exhibitions, and has had two solo exhibitions. You can see her art around the community at Greyhound Gallery, Strata Coffee Bar, Urbana Coffee Works, Public House, Advanced Vital Care of Amarillo, and Surgery Center of Amarillo.
